Be the face of a growing craft cidery in the market, spreading the love of our brand and growing super fans throughout the region! This is a unique opportunity to build a sales function from the ground up. The position will work directly with wholesale partners to develop and implement market specific objectives including business development, increasing distribution within accounts, points of distribution and gaining new customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Growing sales, creatively.
Work closely with distributors and the rest of the small company.
Call on key accounts on a regular basis and build long term relationships.
Conduct staff trainings at on and off premise accounts.
Coordinate between a variety of stakeholders.
Develop, implement and maintain CRM tools.
Communicate information to the rest of the team with recommendations that will contribute to the development of the brands, sales growth and distributor effectiveness.
Identify and track key metrics (sales, distribution, display, POS, etc.), providing timely performance reports.
Participate in the execution of events and cider educational presentations for customers and consumers. Can include weekends.
Demonstrate ability to work hard and play hard.
Experience Preferences
Experience working well independently and in teams.
Established relationships with key distribution and buyer partners.
Five years of experience in sales or promotions in beverage/alcohol industry.
Certified Cider Professional.
Skills
Humble, hungry and smart.
Ability to create and deliver inspiring sales presentations.
Creativity is a must, with a desire to do things differently from how others do them.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Proven ability to build and maintain long term relationships.
Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a standing and sitting position; the job requires frequent standing, walking, bending and light lifting.
Limited travel is a possibility.
Flexible schedule: part time / full time
