Cidergarten Tap Room
Nestled in the woods of rural Ottawa County, but only 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, is the areas best kept secret. It’s truly a unique experience you cannot find anywhere else. Located on our 150 year old family farm is the Farmhaus Cidergarten Taproom. Enjoy a variety of delicious ciders crafted onsite, available exclusively at the Cidergarten Tap Room and not sold in stores. These ciders range from authentic to creative and everywhere in between. It’s a constantly changing tap list. so visit often. And stay a little while when you do – you’re family now.
The Cidergarten Tap Room welcomes guests of all ages, on two legs or four (note: dogs are allowed only in the outdoor space). Bring a book, a blanket, a board game or leave it all behind and snuggle up inside. Surrounded by forest and twinkling lights, it only takes one visit to feel a million miles away from the daily stresses of life. It’s also the perfect date night spot!
Plan on scheduled food trucks Friday and Saturday summer – fall (see current schedule below). If we do not have a food truck scheduled, feel free to BYO food and make it a picnic! If there is a food truck, please do not bring outside food. Non-alcoholic apple cider is always available at the tap room as well.

Farm Team Running Group Powered by Gazelle Sports
Did you know we also host a weekly running group powered by Gazelle Sports? Come run or walk a fun 5k with us every Thursday evening summer – fall at 6:30 PM! More info for 2020 farm team group will be announced in the spring.
The Grand Ravines Dog Park
The Grand Ravines South is great for those itching to hike, jog or just step into nature, if only for a moment. Just east of 42nd Avenue, The Grand Ravines South is also home of the Grand Ravines Dog Park – the perfect place to run your furry friend before stopping for a cider break . This park is fun and safe for pups of all shapes and sizes, complete with lots of space to play, doggy fountains and even enclosed areas for different sized companions.
Post Family Farm
Post Family Farm offers family fun all fall long and is located just a mile away on Bauer Road. Pick up some delicious pumpkin doughnuts and tour the barns or take a horse-drawn sleigh ride in the winter. Check here for their current hours.
The Found Cottage
Looking for some afternoon shopping? Community driven, The Found Cottage is a collection of new and vintage home goods for styles ranging from hand-crafted farmhouse to modern-made must haves. Take a 15 minute drive to visit the Found Cottage on Chicago Drive, you won’t regret it.
The Grand Lady Riverboat Tours
Make a stop in Jenison at Boynton’s Landing and take a cruise on The Grand Lady from May 1st to October 31st down the Grand River. The Grand Lady is a steamboat modeled after those sailed in the 1800’s along the Grand River. Stop for pre-sail ciders and then take to the waters on this relaxing vessel, rain or shine.
